Titus the Turtle

After having heavy rains and stormy weather around Koh Tao for a few weeks, finally the good old tropical sun is smiling at us again.
In extremely good mood Shu jumped in the sea with a big splash at dive site Hin Pee Wee yestreday morning around 08:15 am. Just before we made our ascent, we were reminded why our lovely island is called Koh Tao: Turtle Island.
This is Titus the Turtle with his two Cobia friends. Seen the name of this island you would think that there are Green Turtles everywhere. Unfortunately there are only three Turtles spotted in the last couple of months; two at dive site Hin Pee Wee and one at dive site White Rock.

Day off

Once in a while we have a couple of days off on this tropical island Koh Tao. Last weekend the girls from Bangkok of our previous post 'Team Mermaid' came to visit us. The girls rented two motor bikes and together we enjoyed a grande tour around the lovely island.
Ed's Angels from left to right: Anmara, Anne, Shu, Inge and Kimberly. Ed surely is the luckiest guy on the rock.
After the ladies' departure on the catamaran back to Bangkok, we had some time to make a few fundives. We descended at dive site Japanese Garden and encountered this beautiful little Nudibranch.
This Hermit Crab refused to pose for the camera. Shu wanted to lure him out of his house, but Ed convinced her that the crab needed to enjoy his day off too.
